HARWELL DENTAL PRACTICE STAFF

All our professional staff are registered with the General Dental Council and undertake continuing professional education.

All our staff have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).

All our staff have been trained in cross infection control.

All staff have been trained for medical emergencies and resuscitation.

Dr Michael Bellew, Dental Surgeon, trained at Guy's Hospital, London and qualified at The Royal College of Surgeons in 1983.  General Dental Council registration 58126.

He has worked in general practice in Hampshire and ran the staff dental service at Austin-Rover Cars Assembly Plant in Cowley, Oxford until the factory closed down in 1992. He then acquired Harwell Dental Practice on the retirement of Richard Peacock and has run this general dental practice ever since.


Mrs Jessie Matson joined us in June 2006. She is qualified as both a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist (GDC registration 10758). She currently provides dental hygiene services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Julie is our dental nurse, registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Care Professional (number 113890). She started with us in November 2004 and also works on reception.

She has previously worked in a number of practices around the county.


Mrs 'Poppet' Butler joined us in November 2009 as our receptionist, having carried out this role for a variety of local businesses.
