The
dental practice was established before the Second World War as part of
the R.A.F. Medical Centre at Harwell Aerodrome and remained in use after
the war when R.A.F. Harwell became the Atomic Energy Research Establishment.
Sixty years later, Harwell Dental Practice is still housed in the same building on the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority site, now known as Harwell International Business Centre. The practice is owned by Dr. Michael Bellew.
The practice is located in Curie Avenue, near the Northern entrance to the Harwell site, opposite a small shopping centre with car park. It is outside the security zone and accessible to the public.
Harwell International Business Centre is off the A4185 road in Southern Oxfordshire, midway between Oxford and Newbury, a few miles from Didcot.
